Brooke's House Part 1

In a previous post, I mentioned that I would love to share some more of my niece's house.

It is hard to tell in this photo but their house has a rock facade that gives an elegant setting.  There is a fountain that springs up from a small pool as you walk up the stairs to the front door.
There is also a front patio area that is enclosed with a rock wall.

You enter the double front doors into a spacious entry area.
You enjoy a panoramic view of  several rooms.

Moving on in to the kitchen area.

This is the kitchen nook.
If I could say I have a favorite it would be this room.
It has doors and windows that make you think you are outdoors.
I also love the warm color on the walls.

Close up of the hanging light over table.

The long-necked rooster gives a touch of whimsy.

Stone fireplace in Family Room

Brooke had this oil painting done to add a punch of color in Family Room.

Again the Family Room has many doors and windows that open to the backyard.
The architectural pieces give a world traveled feel.

This post will be continued with features of the backyard and the rest of the house.

Hope you enjoyed your tour...more to come!

  5. She has added so many special touches since I was there. I love the tropical room. I have always wanted to do something tropical. She really has a decorative flair. I'm sure she got some of that from her Aunt Gail. Looking forward to more.
