My Aunt Jessie

I don't even know where to begin this post.  In February I received a phone call from my Mom saying that my Aunt Jessie (my Mom's sister) had fallen during the night and she couldn't move.  From that time forward our family stayed with her 24/7.  On March 1st, she went to live in Heaven.  I'm sure she has a whole new perspective on decorating since she has now taken up residence in a place that is more beautiful than our earthly minds can imagine.

This picture of Aunt Jessie was taken before she got married.

Aunt Jessie lived 92 years and was a close part of my life.

You are loved Aunt Jessie and I will cherish our memories together forever.

I have been blessed because of you.

  1. I had a feeling the first post you would do when you came back would be about Aunt Jessie. What a sweet tribute to her. She was a beautiful lady (and girl). Glad to see you back here. I've missed your posts.
Since I never get to see you anymore I need to come here to find out what you are up too.
LOL We have to get together soon. I miss my friend.

  6. Jessie was such a gracious lady, and I was so honored to have known her and to have been able to spend a little bit of time with her. She was always so unselfish, never wanted to put anyone out, kind and loving. She was so pretty! I just love the old photos. Her loving ways will live on through her family.
