The Thanksgiving Gathering

I decorated this room for a Thanksgiving gathering. The twinkle lights illuminate the beautiful stone mantle. The tablescape on the sofa table sets the mood for this occasion.

Antiquing in Indiana

When traveling through Indiana, I picked up a brochure about an antique mall in Corydon. Since it was called The Red Barn, I thought it would be fun to check it out. The mums and fall decor drew me in from the beginning. I always love it when the booths are displayed cute and it is clean....well, clean as a barn can be. I brought home several treasures from this stop.

Adding nature with a few twigs makes this setting feel cozy in all seasons.

Feather your Nest

On a trip through Kansas this month, I was so excited to get to visit Mary Carol Garrity's store, Nell Hill's, in Atchinson, Kansas. I purchased her book and read it on my journey back to California.
